Ginger-Fennel Calming Tea

  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon whole fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon whole coriander seeds (optional)
  • 500 ml filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)
  • 1 slice lemon

Instructions

  1. 1Lightly crush fennel and coriander seeds with the back of a spoon to release the oils.
  2. 2Bring water to a simmer and add ginger, fennel and coriander.
  3. 3Cover and simmer gently for 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. 4Strain into two mugs, add lemon and honey if using.
  5. 5Sip slowly after lunch or dinner, especially on high-bloat days.
